Privacy Policy for Braindle
Last Updated: August 17, 2026
Braindle ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our mobile game, Braindle (the "Game"), available on the Google Play Store. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Game, you agree to the practices described herein.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use the Game:
a. Information Stored on Your Device
The Game stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device (for example using on-device storage), such as:
• Game progress and statistics (games played, wins, streaks, guess distribution)
• Settings (for example sound, auto-place letters, selected word length)
• Virtual items and progress (for example brain points, hints, unlocked skins and backgrounds, booster status)
• Daily challenge progress for the current day
This information is used to keep your progress and preferences between sessions. It is stored on your device and is not uploaded by us to a personal account or public profile inside the Game.
b. Automatically Collected Information (via third parties)
When ads or related services run, third-party partners may automatically collect certain technical data, which can include:
• Device information (such as device type, operating system, and advertising identifiers where available)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• App interaction and diagnostic data related to ads and performance
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the Game unless you contact us voluntarily (for example by email for support).
c. Purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Payment details are handled by Google, not by us. Google may collect transaction-related data according to its own policies.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used to:
• Provide and maintain the Game’s features (progress, settings, unlocks, daily challenge)
• Show advertisements, including optional rewarded ads (for example when you choose to watch an ad for a hint)
• Process optional in-app purchases through Google Play
• Improve stability and understand general usage through advertising and platform services
• Comply with legal obligations or respond to valid requests
3. Advertising and Consent
The Game uses Google AdMob to display ads. In some regions (for example the European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland), we may show a consent form so you can choose how ads are personalized. You can change related choices later from the Game’s settings where privacy options are available.
AdMob and Google may process device and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob help for more information.
You may also limit ad personalization through your device settings (for example Google Settings → Ads), where available.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services that may collect and process data under their own privacy policies:
• Google AdMob: Advertising, including rewarded ads.
See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Play / Google Play Billing: Distribution of the Game
and processing of optional in-app purchases.
See Google’s Privacy Policy
and Google Play terms.
These providers act as independent controllers or processors of the data they collect. We encourage you to review their policies.
5. Data Storage and Security
Local storage: Most gameplay data (statistics, settings, unlocks) remains on your device. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the Game typically removes this local information.
Security: We take reasonable steps appropriate to a mobile game to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by:
• Google (AdMob and Google Play) as needed to show ads, measure them,
distribute the Game, and handle purchases
• Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights
The Game does not publish a public player profile or leaderboard with your identity.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, or to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• Ads: Use in-Game privacy options where available, and device-level
ad settings, to manage personalized advertising.
• Local data: You can reset local progress by clearing the app’s
storage in your device settings or uninstalling the Game.
• Requests: To ask about data related to the Game, contact us at
giwrgostza1@gmail.com.
We will respond as required by applicable law. Some data is controlled only
by Google (ads, purchases)—see their policies for those requests.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where applicable.
9. International Users
If you use the Game outside the country where our services or partners operate, your information may be processed in other countries (including by Google). Where required, we and our partners take steps intended to comply with applicable data protection laws, such as the GDPR.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the revised policy.
